From February 2010 to February 2012
The project Count to Ten / Hold your Horses sought to influence Palestinian Youth to react to stressful situations with tolerance rather than violence and foster more understanding and acceptance of the “other”.
In cooperation with PYALARA (Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership And Rights Activation) a role-model hero and heroine that attract young people to reconsider modes of dealing with conflicts or intolerance were created and developed within a twenty-four-part series educational TV drama.
Moreover a story telling competition and workshops involving university students, schoolteachers and parents were held training them to foster non-violent coping techniques in Palestinian youths.
